So long. Farewell. Auf Wiedersehen, goodnight.

OK, now that I've got that song stuck in your head (don't worry, it's now stuck in mine as well), it's time to say good-bye to Spring Break. I really could use another week. I'm not ready to go back to work yet. I didn't get everything done that I wanted to get done. Although, I did get a lot done. (Man, that was a lot of the word "done" in two sentences.) Just not all of it. Nothing exciting (read: blog-worthy), just a bunch of little stuff around the house, inside and out. Although I did help mom and dad pack up their place in The Woodlands because... keep your fingers crossed... their house sold for real this time! So, I helped back some boxes and load the trailer. Remind me to never again move. It's such a pain in the you-know-what!

With that said, have a fabulous week. Is your bracket as screwed up as mine is? I had Kansas winning the national championship, if that gives you any idea of what a mess my bracket has become. But I still love this time of year. March Madness rocks! Enjoy the games!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I hope you're all enjoying some green beer. I'm not, but I hope someone is! We had Irish stew for lunch, and I wore my green, so I consider myself to be in the St. Patrick's Day spirit. Plus, I made the video below, because I'm procrastinating getting stuff done around the house, and because i needed something to blog about today. If I did half of these moves (OK, really any of these moves), I'd end up in the hospital. My favorite part of this whole thing is the double eye brows. HA! Hope you all had a great day! I'm going to go find a green beer, er, I mean, tea?

Poor sportsmanship

I'm a competitor in most everything I do. always have been. When Jay and I played Dodgeball for a team that his work put together, I hated to lose. And I admit, I was a sore loser. When we lost, I griped and complained and said the other team didn't play fair. When I was at Rice, I hated it when our team lost, even though I wasn't out on the court or field. Losing sucks. But no matter how much I hate losing, I would never, ever, EVER (PB, that's for you!) do what Brittney Griner of the Baylor women's basketball team did the other night to a player on the Texas Tech team. I know that there was a little rough play going on back and forth between her and the Texas Tech player, but you know what, be the bigger player in this situation. Turn around and walk away.

Talk about a lapse in judgement on Grier's part. In case you don't who Griner is, she's kind of a stud. She's a freshman from Houston, leads the team in scoring, apparently can dunk without much effort, but I want to know who she thinks she is that she can get away with this? I hope Baylor does the right thing and disciplines her properly.
