Boat Names

We went out on the boat last night to watch the fireworks (the last ones we'll see this summer), and, as we always do, we were having fun looking at boat names. Here are a few we saw that we thought were crafty.
  • Sails Call
  • E-Sea Go'n
  • Tri-2-Relax
  • Knot a Worry
  • Climbin' the ladder
  • BaDD Karma
  • Why Knot
  • The Other Woman
  • G Spot

I'd like to hear what you would name your boat if you had one?!?

Beauty Pageants

In a bout of boredom this weekend, I stumbled across this video of Miss Teen South Carolina answering a question about why she feels most Americans can't find the US on a map. It's freakin' hilarious. I had to watch it a couple times because I didn't believe this really happened.

And, because there is nothing else on television tonight, I have on (while cleaning and folding laundry) the Miss Universe pageant. Our very own Ms. USA - Ms. Texas from Missouri City - just fell coming down the stairs during the evening gown competition. Again, quite funny.

Come to find out (from a variety of sources) that this is the second year in a row that Miss USA has fallen during the evening gown competition. Check out last year's Miss USA taking a spill.

These all are worth watching a few times. Enjoy.

I'm going back to Cali, to Cali, to Cali...

In exactly two weeks from now, JF, me and some friends will be in Cali visiting CK! I can't wait. I don't really have anything else to blog about today, but I wanted to share in my excitement. While we are in Cali, we're going to the Guilroy Garlic Festival. Yes, a festival ALL ABOUT GARLIC! They apparently even have garlic ice cream. And then I think we're going wine tasting. What is better than garlic and wine? Um, I don't think much. So for those of you who are traveling with me, I hope you're as excited as me. For the rest of you, it sucks to be you! :)

Happy July 4th!!!!

This is my favorite holiday. I'm not really sure why, but it is. I love what the day represents, I'm proud to be an American, and I thank everyone who has made our freedoms possible. Plus, I'm a sucker for fireworks.

I wish everyone a very happy and safe July 4th. For the first time in a LONG time, I don't have to work today!
