Prayer Request

I don't normally do this, but your thoughts and prayers are needed. A guy I went to high school with (his dad was a doctor of mine who performed two of my surgeries), is having brain surgery tomorrow (Tuesday, April 8). They found a tumor that they have to go in and remove. Please pray that it is benign. Please pray that he will come out of it ok, and that his speech and movements won't be affected. The surgery is scheduled for 7 a.m., in Dallas, and is supposed to take about 7 hours to perform. Please say a prayer tonight and tomorrow for the Hubbard family. David is a cool guy!

A day at the drag races

So, last Friday we went to the drag races. I love the drag races. Why? Let me ask you this... would you sit inside something that went zero to 347 in 5 seconds? Yea, me either. But I have to respect the drivers that do. Especially the gals. So instead of taking my picture with my two favs (Tony Schumacher and Brandon Bernstein), I took my picture with the girls this year... Hillary Will and Ashley Force. Ashley was actually in the finals in Funny Car... the first time a female has been in the finals. And Hillary, she's just cute. And so sweet. And that's the other reason I like the drags. You can go up to the drivers and talk to them, get your picture taken or get an autograph. It's very fan-friendly. Anyway, that's Ashley on the bottom and Hillary on the top.
