Help Haiti

If you have a little to give, please give to the relief efforts in Haiti. For me, it means a couple less latte's or Panera breakfasts this week. I think that's something I can give up to help rescue operations in Haiti. Here's how you can give:

  • Text "Haiti" to 90999. $10 will be added to your cell phone bill. It's really that easy. Really.
  • Donate to the American Red Cross, www.redcross.org.
  • A lot of places are taking donations of clothing, bedding, and medicine. Google it in your city to find out where to donate.
Even if you can only afford $10 right now, that $10 will go a long way to help our people help the Haitians.

More Rose Bowl pics

It's rainy and dreary here today, and it's been a long week at work, so I don't really have a lot to blog about. But, I received these four pictures in the mail this week (I still love getting REAL snail mail) from long time family friend Carol in Ohio (who we literally ran into on the Tournament of Roses parade route when we were in Cali), so I thought I needed to share.

The fam. Love the mountains behind us!

Do I really need to explain?

It's not every day...

That you get a photo credit in the Houston Chronicle. But, that happened to me today!

It's also not every day that one sells their house, but that's exactly what happened to mom and dad today. Finally! Congrats you guys! It's now time to pack up and head south!

Rose Bowl fun

Mom, dad and I had a fab time in Southern California. It was made even better when the Buckeyes came away with a 26-17 Rose Bowl win.

Happy New Year to you. To 2009, I say f you. To 2010, I say bring it.

At the Buckeye Bash on the Beach.

Freezing our butts off before the Tournament of Roses Parade.

The Granddaddy of them all!

Sea of scarlet and grey.

Here come the Buckeyes!

Enough said.

Thanks Mom and dad!!!
